Lyrical Empowerment

Nudity… The human naked form often stirs discomfort and curiosity, raising questions about our societal codes and cultural beliefs. These constructs obscure our ability to appreciate the beauty and perfection of the body’s natural state, free from preconception, shame and accusation.

In my lyrical project Corps Voilés (Veiled Bodies), Eva, Camille and Brandi challenge these conventional notions. The translucent veils they wear actually reveal much about the body’s natural beauty and integrity. They create a delicate balance between modesty and exposure, serving as a threshold that separates the raw, often uncomfortable state of being unclothed from a space of empowered self-expression.

By draping themselves in these veils, these women reclaim their bodies and assert their autonomy, demonstrating that nudity is not just about exposure but also about celebrating and embracing the beautiful, natural condition we are born with.

Thank you Eva, Camille and Brandi…
